Experience

 

Part time online Art teacher for Artisticat Art School, Melbourne (2023- current)

 

Teaching art online to students based in Melbourne and Sydney. I take drawing and kid’s craft classes with various mediums for age groups 5 years -8 years and 8 years to 14 years.

 

 Free Lance Artist and Print Maker (2012-current)

   

      Meditation is a way of life for me and art is meditation for me. I am a full-time artist         

      and my artwork is inspired by the 'everyday'. My inspirations are derived from nature.      

      My emphasis is on 'perspective' and how it changes with every individual owing to his

      experiences and environment. My artworks reflect deep emotions that are unaffected

      by rules or what is right.

 

 

Worked as a freelance Interior Designer in Kolkata, India (2006-2010)

Successfully completed various residential and commercial projects. Projects included space planning, product/ furniture designing, electrical layouts and quotation making.

 

Worked as a Marketing Executive officer at Seastarr Trading Pte Ltd (2010-2012)

I was in charge of Marketing products, Procurement and Sales of products. Apart from trading chemicals, I looked after the general management of the firm.

 

6 years of teaching school students under the Scouts & Guides Movement in Kolkata, India (2002 – 2008)

 

The Calcutta International School - Scouts and guides movement is the Indian equivalent of the global Brownie Program. It is a voluntary movement in which children are taught to be responsible and self-sustainable. Emphasis is made on overall development through ‘play way’ method so that children are better prepared for any situation. Students are trained in leadership, nature & environment conservation, art and experience the joys of community service

 

Weekly lessons in Art on Sundays to underprivileged students in collaboration with the NGO – ‘Help Us Help Them’, Kolkata, India (2003-05)

Taught underprivileged children the basics of Art and introduced them to the world of colors though pencil, water colors and pastels.
