A Silent Prayer
Mixed media on linen
This work grew from a quiet place within me. The Waratah feels like more than a flower — like a gesture of hope and stillness. The form folded into each other, becoming two hands gently pressed together in prayer.
There’s a softness in their movement, as if they’re swaying in the breeze, whispering words of protection and well-being. I think of them as guardians — holding space for peace, for care, for the delicate balance between strength and surrender.
A Silent Prayer is my way of honoring both the resilience of nature and the quiet grace we reach for in ourselves.
